- Relationships usually start very innocent.
- Take the initiative, take control, get the conversation started. It should have begun many years before now. Sex education should start as soon as your child can talk. If you don’t tell them, someone will and may not be right.
- Ask their opinion, reason. Listen, really listen. Keep your cool demeanour irrespective what they’re saying. Seek to understand without judging.
- Reiterate your family values, beliefs, morals and give them the ‘facts’. (See ‘facts’ in the download).
- If pregnancy happens, you need to RESPOND nor REACT! Accept and support her/him and work through your feelings. It’s a difficult process but doable. (See details in download)
